By the way, yes the full Paris Report is definitely coming… I’m working on “flex time” here in Jenniferland, which means whatever I feel like posting – regardless of chronology – is what you see…
So I’ll interrupt the US trip to post a few gratuitous photos of some decor progress in our house that I am pleased about. Creating an American-style house in a land that’s not America has proved more challenging than I thought (as you all have heard many times before, ad-nauseum), but it has also tought me patience and persistance. I have to admire my American friend Sally who has surpassed the odds by creating Moroccan-style decor in Germany. I can only handle 2 countries at a time…
So, here is the current state of Sophie’s room:

And our upstairs bathroom is pretty much done:

Downstairs bathroom getting there:

Guest room making progress (note the style of bedding & furniture there is very Euro.. as much as I much prefer double mattresses, American sheets and blankets… it is really easy to make a European bed because there’s just one cover!)

Living room (also known as Sophie’s play room) is coming along at a snail’s pace. By the time Sophie’s out of college it will surely be complete. Don’t mind the sheets laying on the sofa – I just noticed – really, we do put our laundry away here:

Ok, back to our trip… soon!
I just love how you’re decorating your home ! And that bathroom of yours is exquisite !!
